This journal recounts a trip that Edie and I made to Portugal from March 13, 2003 to March 23, 2003. It’s a little too detailed in places and not enough in others, but this is my first attempt at this sort of writing. Constructive criticism is most welcome.

We took three cameras on this trip. All of the pictures on this page are from my Canon G2. Edie took her Canon point-and-shoot and produced some truly excellent images, but lack of a film scanner prevents me from sharing them here. Gaps in the pictures correspond to the time I spent shooting Tri-X with my Canon Elan II. Maybe one day I’ll get a film scanner and fill in the gaps. Clicking on the pictures will get you a bigger version in another window; clicking on another picture will use the same window so feel free to keep it open. In addition, the picture window will let you scroll through the pictures if you’re not interested in the words, although I hope there’s some value in both.
