mattereaterlad.com now has a RSS feed. Your aggregator should find it automatically, but just in case here’s the link for easy pasting: http://www.mattereaterlad.com/mel.rss. Let me know if you have any problems with it or if it fails to show up correctly in whatever reader you’re using.

If you have no idea what RSS is, the easiest way to learn might just be to start using it. It’s remarkably difficult to find a simple explanation on the web, so here’s mine: Instead of visiting a bunch of web pages every day to see if they’ve changed, RSS is a way for the web pages to let you know when they change. All you have to do is check a centralized program (called an aggregator), and it will tell you which sites have updated as well as give you a summary of the new content and provide a way to directly jump to whatever is new. If you visit a lot of pages, this is an obvious time saver over opening a bunch of bookmarks.

There are lots of aggregators available, and all of them should work with this site. NetNewsWire is my favorite for the Mac. Bloglines is a web site that will do the same thing for any platform.
